Testimonials

Finesko Machining is a wonderful company to work with.  Many of our parts have very high standards of machining and other processes which require some hand work in polishing and Aaron always does a fantastic job.  He fits our parts into his very busy schedule and bends over backwards to meet our sometimes very tight deadlines.   I know that the parts we get back from him will always be made to our satisfaction and never worry about the quality of work coming from his shop.  We are proud to say he is one of our top 3 vendors and we enjoy working with him!

Over the years, Aaron at Finesko Machining has proven to be a reliable, and trust worthy source for high precision machined parts that I would highly recommend.  The level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and care that are put into each part is simply world class.

We have worked with Finesko for many years and are continually impressed with his knowledge of cutting-edge processes, software, and techniques. Aaron has created a state-of-the art machine shop in a beautiful setting and we will continue to make Finesko our first choice for machined prototype and production parts.

Meet Aaron

Aaron Johnson grew up in Esko, MN before coming to Bozeman, MT during the legendary winter of 1996-1997 to be a ski bum, and decided Montana was the place for him.

He went back to Minnesota to attend the two year machine technology program at Lake Superior College in Duluth from 1998-2000 and then moved to Montana permanently in the spring of 2000.

After working in a production shop, Aaron realized he was looking for a more in-depth training and machining environment. He went to work for Tom Jungst at Jungst Scientific, continuing on for two more years after the company was sold to BlackHawk Products Group.

Aaron feels fortunate to have been trained by Tom Jungst and Birten Todd and gained invaluable experience during this period. He also went back to school at Montana State University during this time and received a degree in Health Promotion.

Aaron moved to Bigfork, MT in the winter of 2007. He worked in several local shops before deciding to open his own shop in order to more closely replicate the work environment he’d experienced under Tom Jungst. This was the origin of Finesko Machining

Aaron is a lifelong student, always seeking to advance his knowledge on techniques and tools. He’s also an avid outdoorsman, enjoying cold-weather sports like nordic skiing and warm-weather pursuits like cycling.
